Accepting applications for Flight Coaches

We have no current openings to fill, but we're always happy to take applications from people who love aviation and would like to be contacted next time one of our staff members moves on.

If you love aviation, want a rewarding role in being a positive person to others, and want to enjoy going to work every day, we would love to hear from you! We can teach anyone to fly our plane, it's the passion and enthusiasm we can't teach that make you the right person for the job.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You will coach our clients in our full–scale flight simulator and have fun introducing them to the cockpit, guiding them from takeoff through landing, explaining the aircraft's systems, and answering their questions
Engage with our clients before and after each flight session
Set up the cockpit between flight sessions
Create flight plans for our customizable flight sessions
Accurately follow detailed startup/shutdown instructions for the simulator and its components
When not in a flight session, cover front desk duties like sales transactions and phone calls
Light cleaning duties of the cockpit and our facility
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong aviation knowledge and a passion for sharing it with others
A desire to be a positive in someone's life, doing what you love
Excellent team member skills — everything is based on giving our clients a First Class experience
A “people person” with the ability to communicate clearly with our clients and fellow staff members
Detail–oriented, able to follow instructions to the letter
Willingness to learn and grow
Enough basic computer literacy to navigate our web–based booking system and enter data into an Excel spreadsheet
Availability to work at least 15 hours per week, including minor holidays and the days immediately before and after major holidays
We can offer the right person up to 35 hours per week
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS THAT COULD GIVE YOU A “LEG UP”
Student, Private, or Commercial Pilot License
Past, current, or planned future career in aviation
Familiarity with some of the software we use such as Sim-Avionics, FlyElise Immersive Display Pro, and Navigraph
General computer skills at a lowest–tier helpdesk level
